The Human OR13H1 ELISA Kit enables accurate, quantitative detection of Olfactory Receptor 13H1 (OR13H1) in human biological fluids. OR13H1 belongs to the G protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) superfamily and is part of the largest gene family in the human genome—olfactory receptors, which are increasingly being studied in non-olfactory tissues including immune, reproductive, and cancer-related systems.
This kit is ideal for researchers exploring the extranasal functions of olfactory receptors, especially in contexts such as cell signaling, chemosensory biology, epithelial physiology, and novel cancer biomarker discovery.
Test Principle
This ELISA kit uses a two-antibody sandwich method:
- A capture antibody specific to OR13H1 is pre-coated on a 96-well plate.
- Standards and samples are added; OR13H1 binds the capture antibody.
- A biotin-conjugated detection antibody is added, followed by HRP-Streptavidin.
- A TMB substrate yields a colorimetric signal proportional to the amount of OR13H1 bound.
- Absorbance is measured at 450 nm, and concentrations are calculated against a standard curve.
